What is GeM?
GeM, the Government e-Marketplace, is the Government of India’s online procurement platform, run by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Central and state government departments, public sector undertakings and autonomous bodies use it to buy goods and services. Its bidding section, GeM BidPlus, lists the bids and reverse auctions that registered sellers respond to.
Tenderlelo reads the public bid list on GeM BidPlus. As of 6 Oct 2026, 44,021 GeM bids are open: see the open GeM tenders.
What is eProcure (CPPP)?
eProcure (the Central Public Procurement Portal) is the Government of India’s website where central ministries, departments, public sector undertakings and autonomous bodies publish their tenders. The National Informatics Centre runs it for the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance. Bidders download the tender documents and submit their bids online through it.
As of 6 Oct 2026, 28,188 eProcure tenders are open: see the open eProcure tenders.
What is EMD in a tender?
EMD, or earnest money deposit, is a refundable security a bidder pays with the bid to show the offer is serious. The buyer returns it to the bidders who do not win, and can forfeit it if the winner withdraws or will not sign the contract. Micro and small enterprises and recognised startups are often exempt.
Every tender on Tenderlelo shows its EMD amount, or “No EMD” when the buyer does not ask for one. Search emd:exempt for tenders without EMD, or emd<1L for EMD under one lakh rupees. The tender document on the portal sets the exact rules, including who may claim an exemption.
How do I search for tenders by state or district?
Type the place into the search box, or use a filter such as state:kerala, district:pune or city:surat. These match where the goods or services are delivered, not where the buyer sits; use buyer_state: for the buyer’s office. Every state and its busiest districts also have their own page of open tenders.

How often is the data updated?
Tenderlelo refreshes its copy of GeM and eProcure every day. Each update adds newly listed tenders, picks up changed closing dates and drops bids a portal has withdrawn. The time of the latest update for each portal is printed at the foot of every page, so you can see how fresh the list is.
The figures on this page are as of 6 Oct 2026.
Is Tenderlelo free?
Yes. Searching, filtering, reading tender details and keeping a shortlist are all free, with no login or sign-up. Your shortlist is kept in your own browser, not in an account. Tenderlelo is an independent tool and is not run by GeM, eProcure or any government department.
Start with all open tenders, or browse by category: Goods tenders, services tenders, works tenders.
Does Tenderlelo submit bids?
No. Tenderlelo helps you find tenders; it cannot submit bids, pay EMD or upload documents for you. To bid, register on the portal that lists the tender and submit there before the closing time. Always read the full tender document on the portal first, because it is the version that counts.
Bid on GeM at gem.gov.in and on eProcure at eprocure.gov.in. Each tender page on Tenderlelo links to its listing on the portal.
How is Tenderlelo different from the portals?
Each portal lists only its own tenders. Tenderlelo puts GeM and eProcure tenders into one search, with filters for state, district, ministry, organisation, department, category, value and closing date. You can also type filters in plain language, such as state:gujarat emd<5L closes<7, and share any search as a link.
The table below lists every filter the search box understands.
