Payment Terms

  • 100% payment against receipt, inspection and acceptance of material by the consignee at destination.

Standard Governing Conditions

  • IRS Conditions of Contract The contract shall be governed by latest version (along with all correction slips) of IRS conditions of contract, and all other terms and conditions incorporated in the tender documents.

    1. Material to be delivered direct to Consignee.
    2. All others terms and conditions are as per IRS conditions of contract and general tender condition of Eastern Railway& Special Condition of Tender
    3. Firms should submit their quotation through IREPS web site.

Special Conditions

    1. Tendere s are advice to deposit the EMD if applicable as per clause No. 8.0 of instructions to tenderes for e- tenders of Eastern Railway.
    2. Submission of SD Money if applicable in this case per clause No. 9.0 of Instruction to tenderes for e- Tender of Eastern Railway.
    3. The delivery period in this case shall be reckoned from the date of issue of advance P.O/Letter of advance Acceptance /Letter of Acceptance as per clause No. 13.0 of Eastern Railway General Tender conditions.
    4. Authorized dealers need to upload current and valid Tender specific authorization certificate from OEM along with e-bid failing which their offers will be rejected.
    5. Drawing/specification of tendered item is attached / mentioned with NIT. Any Technical clarification regarding Drawing/specification can be obtained from the office of the Dy.CEE /W /KPA
    6. Price variation clause (PVC) is not applicable and offer with PVC clause will liable to be rejected.
    7. Guarantee/Warranty (GC/WC) : Firms are advised to offer guarantee/warranty clause as per specification. In case specification, does not specify guaranty/warranty clause then the same Should be offered as per IRS conditions of contract i.e. 30 months from the date of supply. Tenderers to note that offers with guarantee/warranty other than above may liable to be rejected.
    8. Validity of offer should be minimum 90 days from the date of opening.
    9. All bidders / Tenderers should ensure that they are GST compliant and their quoted tax structure /rates are as per GST law.
    10. All others terms and conditions are as per IRS conditions of contract and general tender condition of Eastern Railway. 1 1 ) Manufacture's/Supplier's trade mark along with month, year of manufacturing to be embossed/marked/labeled on the product without hampering operability.
    11. sample to be shown and got approved/inspected by consignee at consignee end before bulk supply (This activity is to be carried out by the concerned firm).
    12. Implementation of Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India) Order, 2017 will be applicable as per para 28.0 of GTC of ER. (5 Lakhs ).
    13. G. C/W.C as per Drg. specification otherwise as per IRS terms & conditions of contract to be furnished along with supply. Firm must be submitted GSTIN no. and HSN code no. at the time of tendering.
