Payment Terms

  • 100% payment against receipt, inspection and acceptance of material by the consignee at destination.

Statutory Variation Clause

  • ANY ADDITIONAL INPUT TAX CREDIT (ITC), IF BECOME AVAILABLE TO THE SUPPLIER, THE SAME SHALL BE PASSED ON THE PURCHASER (i.e. INDIAN RAILWAYS) WITHOUT ANY UNDUE DELAY.

Standard Governing Conditions

  • The contract shall be governed by latest version (along with all correction slips) of IRS condition of contract and SR Tender conditions with latest amendments as available on the Southern Railway under public documents on IREPs website and all other terms and conditions incorporated in the tender documents.

General Instructions

    1. Firms must indicate the relevant HSN Code as per Classification in their offer.
    2. Purchaser shall not be responsible for any Misclassification of HSN number.
    3. Any Amendment to HSN number in the contract shall be as quoted HSN number, under SVC

  • The offers shall be evaluated based on the GST rate as quoted by each bidder and same will be used for determining the inter se ranking. While submitting offer, it shall be the responsibility of the bidder to ensure that they quote correct GST rate and HSN number. Purchaser shall not be responsible for any misclassification of HSN number or incorrect GST rate if quoted by the bidder.

  • All taxes, freight, packing, forwarding & other charges should be quoted in numeric only @ financial tabulation. If any make is available, it should be specified.

  • Goods and Service Tax (GST) shall be applicable as per GST act (Please refer Para 14.0 ( a to h) Part-A of tender condition. INPUT TAX credit benefit if any accrued should be passed on to the purchase as reduction in Basic Price, or else the following certificate should accompany the bill:

    1. It is certified that no INPUT TAX credit benefit has accrued on materials invoiced/billed for, that can be passed on to Purchaser.
    2. Firm should submit the Invoice/Bill clearly indicating the appropriate HSN and applicable GST rate thereon duly supported with documentary evidence.
    3. Firm should also give a declaration that any additional Input Tax Credit benefit, if become available to supplier, the same shall be passed on to purchaser without any undue delay

Special Conditions

    1. EX-STOCK IS PREFERRED .
    2. TENDERER SHOULD SUBMIT RECENT PROVEN / EXECUTED PURCHASE ORDER OR INSPECTION CERTIFICATE OR RECEIPT NOTE OR ANY OTHER VALID SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS IF ANY ALONG WITH OFFER.
    3. FIRM MUST MENTION GST - HSN NUMBER ALONG WITH OFFER. ALL THE BIDDERS / TENDERER SHOULD ENSURE THAT THEY ARE GST COMPLIANT AND THEIR QUOTED TAX STRUCTURE / RATES ARE AS PER GST LAW. GSTIN ( FOR SOUTHERN RAILWAY TAMILNADU) 33AAAGM0289C1ZQ.
    4. In case of road delivery, the date of delivery at destination [consignee's end] shall only be treated as delivery date irrespective of F.O.R. / F.O.T. condition mentioned elsewhere in the contract / tender..
    5. RAILWAY RESERVES THE RIGHTS TO IMPOSE GENERAL DAMAGES 5% OF CONTRACT VALUE AS PER IRS CONDITION OF THE CONTRACT, IF FIRM FAILS TO SUPPLY THE ITEM WITHIN DELIVERY DATE OR EXTENDED DELIVERY PERIOD.

Technical-Compliances

  • Material must be accompanied by a NABL approved lab test certificate confirming conformity to specifications. Even then, the Railway reserves the right to conduct lab tests at its facility, and the material may be rejected if found non-conforming.
