Special Eligibility Criteria

The Railways reserves the right to order entire or bulk quantity from firm having satisfactory past performance for same or similar items as per clause no 16.4 of General Tender Conditions also available on www.irepsgov.in. The firms need to upload copies of performance/ credential documents like R/Note, Receipted Challan, Inspection Certificate of the same / Similar items failing to which their offer is liable to be rejected. Only uploading of purchase order will not be considered as performance/ credential.

Payment Terms

100% payment against receipt, inspection and acceptance of material by the consignee at destination i.e. AMM/D/UDL.

Statutory Variation Clause

Statutory Variation in taxes and duties , or fresh imposition of taxes and duties by State/Central Governments in respect of the items stipulated in the contract.( and not the raw materials thereof), within the original delivery period stipulated in the contract, or last unconditionally extended delivery period shall be to Railways account. Only such variation shall be admissible which takes place after the submission of bid. No claim on account of Statutory Variation in respect of existing tax/duty will be accepted unless the tenderer has clearly indicated in his offer the rate of tax/duty considered in his quoted rate. No claim on account of Statutory Variation shall be admissible on account of misclassification by the supplier/contractor

Standard Governing Conditions

The contract shall be governed by latest version (along with all correction slips) of IRS conditions of contract, and Eastern Railway general tender condition along with all other terms and conditions incorporated in the tender.

General Instructions

Inspection by Consignee (If P.O value is greater than or equal to Rs. 5 Lakh then inspection by TPI else inspection by consignee).

Packing Material should be properly packed to avoid any damage during transportation.

Validity of Offer The offer must be valid for 90 Days from the date of tender opening. No deviation in respect of offer validity period stipulated in tender document is permitted.
Authorisation In case of authorized dealers, firm has to submit tender specific authorization/dealership from OEM along with the offer, otherwise their offer will be liable to be rejected.
Material will be packed in original packing of OEM.
Material to be delivered at AMM/D/ER/UDL.
Mode of dispatch - By Rail/Road.
Warranty- Guarantee period will be as per drawings/specification. If not stipulated in the drg./Specn, the same will be as per IRS Conditions of contract.
