  • Railway reserves the right to procure the material from the manufacturer or their authorized dealers/agents, who are registered/approved sources of PCMD/ECoR/BBS for Medical Consumable items.

  • Items reserved to be procured from CPSE,s firms as per Railway Board Letter No 2010/H4/1/1 dt: 24/02/2021 will be purchased from CPSE,s if CPSE,s firms participate.

Statutory Variation Clause

  • Statutory variation in taxes and duties,or fresh imposition of taxes and duties by state /Central Government in respect of the items stipulated in the contrat ( and not the raw materials thereof) within the original delivery period stipulated in the contract, or last unconditionally extended delivery period shall be to Railways' account. Only such variation shall be admissible which takes place after the submission of bid. No claim on account of statutory variation in respect of existing tax/duty will be accepted unless the tenderer has clearly indicated in his offer the rate of tax/duty considered in his quoted rate. No claim on account of statutory variation shall be admissible on account of misclassification by the supplier/ contractor.

Standard Governing Conditions

  • IRS Conditions of Contract The contract shall be governed by latest version (along with all correction slips) of IRS conditions of contract, and all other terms and conditions incorporated in the tender documents.

Other Conditions

  • Self life :The items having expiry provision, should not less than 80% of the total self life or should not be older than 06 months from the date of manufacturing whichever is earlier(i.e.having more self life) at time of supply. Condition::Each item should have a printing or stamping with indelible ink of EAST COAST RAILWAY not for sale.

    2. The items having expiry date provision should not be less than 80 percent of the total shelf life or it should not be older then 06 months from the date of manufacture(whichever is more) at the time of supply. Shelf life not required for items having no expiry date provision.
