Special Eligibility Criteria

  • Railway reserves the right to procure the material only from Proven Sources having satisfactory past performance of supplying the tendered items to Railways. The tenderers must upload documents pertaining to their credential / past performance in Zonal Railway/PUS/Other Govt. Organization, i.e. copy of purchase order corresponding challan, inspection certificate & R/Note in support of the same to be uploaded. If firm failed to upload/attach the said documents then their offer will not be considered as a valid offer and summarily be ignored. No back reference on either side will be made or entertained in this regard.

  • Authorized dealer/agent of the approved vendors/OEM must upload tender specific authorization in proper format [preferably as per Annexure-4 of GCC attached], failing by which their offer will be summarily rejected.

Payment Terms

  • 100 percent Payment against consignee R Note. Payment shall be made by Sr. DFM/CKP against online bill and documents submission by firm to Sr DFM/CKP.

Standard Governing Conditions

  • General Conditions of Contract The contract shall be governed by latest version (along with all correction slips) of General Conditions of Contract, and all other terms and conditions incorporated in the tender documents.

Commercial-Compliance

  • Warranty will be as per IRS terms and Condition i,e 30 months or as per specification whichever is higher.

  • Railways prefers free delivery by Road at Consignee end i.e Door delivery basis.

Other Conditions

  • By CDO/ROU or his authorized representative or SSE/CHG/ROU after receipt of the material at consignee end along with test certificates.

  • Material is to be delivered to SSE/CHG/Rourkela.

  • I/We also confirm that Rates & Other financial terms, delivery terms & inspection terms quoted in relevant column of respective bid will only the ruling terms for acceptance. Such terms quoted any where else should be ignored

Special Conditions

  • Time is the essence of contract. As time is the essence of contract, the tenderer are to note the delivery schedule given in the tender schedule and quote accordingly. Vague delivery period or a very high delivery period compared to Railways specific delivery period in the tender schedule may be considered commercially unresponsive and is liable to be ignored.
