OPTION CLAUSE 50% : The buyer can increase or decrease the contract quantity or contract duration up to 50 percent at the time of issue of the contract. However, once the contract is issued, the contract quantity or contract duration can only be increased up to 50 percent. Bidders are bound to accept the revised quantity or duration. For lumpsum-based service contracts, the buyer may increase the scope of work and contract value up to 50 percent with the consent of the service provider

Bidder financial standing: The bidder should not be under liquidation, court receivership or similar proceedings, should not be bankrupt. Bidder to upload undertaking to this effect with bid.

Actual delivery (and Installation & Commissioning (if covered in scope of supply)) is to be done at following address BASE VICTUALLING YARD NAD POST NEAR INS VISHWAKARMA VISAKHAPATNAM PIN 530009 .

Successful Bidder can submit the Performance Security in the form of Account Payee Demand Draft also (besides PBG which is allowed as per GeM GTC). DD should be made in favour of BASE VICTUALLING OFFICER payable at BASE VICTUALLING YARD . After award of contract, Successful Bidder can upload scanned copy of the DD in place of PBG and has to ensure delivery of hard copy to the original DD to the Buyer within 15 days of award of contract.

Buyer Added text based ATC clauses Buyer Added text based ATC clauses Placement of Vehicle (Truck/ Trailar): Transport has to place vehicle ( s)/(Truck/Trailar) as per the day to day requirement. Intimation for placement shall be given by buyer thro ugh Fax, E-mail, or telephonically to the transport clearly indicating the type, capacity, no of truck, consign or location where vehicle to be placed/pos 7 / 10 mentioned and consignee destination. Special term and c onditions: -

• (a)Any breakdown/ repairs, minor or major of vehicle en-route, shall be expeditiously attended to by the tr ansporter at his expanse and the consignor to be informed on the same day.
• (b)Transshipment of cargo en route to another vehicle shall constitute violation of contract and no charge s for for such transshipment shall be payable to the transporter. Consignor to be informed on the same da y in case of any unavoidable transshipment. However Officers concerned at BVY(V) will examine the genui neness and thereafter will process the payment only if found correct. In case any consignment combines w ith our goods, transportation charges would not be paid to transporter due to violation of our term and con dition of contract.
• (c)At the destination, the vehicle shall report to the consignee unit before 0900 hours on any working day .
• (d)If the transporter fails to position suitable vehicle(s) at loading point premises on the date of requireme nt, the buyer shall have the Right to hire a vehicle of the same capacity from the open market, at the risk a nd cost of the transporter.
• (e)Ensuring safe delivery of the consignment to the ultimate consignee in time bound manner with in the specific transit time.
• (f)Vehicle should report with full tanks of fuel to meet an additional requirements.
• (g)Medically fit drivers of Indian National below age of 45 Years preferably conversant with Hindi/ English and knowledge of local language are to be employed.
• (h)Above mentioned requirements driver should to carry valid PVC police verification certificate latest and also carry valid driving license, ID proofs. etc .
