OPTION CLAUSE: The Purchaser reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity to be ordered up to 25 percent of bid quantity at the time of placement of contract. The purchaser also reserves the right to increase the ordered quantity up to 25% of the contracted quantity during the currency of the contract at the contracted rates. The delivery period of quantity shall commence from the last date of original delivery order and in cases where option clause is exercised during the extended delivery period the additional time shall commence from the last date of extended delivery period. The additional delivery time shall be (Increased quantity ÷ Original quantity) × Original delivery period (in days), subject to minimum of 30 days. If the original delivery period is less than 30 days, the additional time equals the original delivery period. The Purchaser may extend this calculated delivery duration up to the original delivery period while exercising the option clause. Bidders must comply with these terms.

Bidders can also submit the EMD with Account Payee Demand Draft in favour of Sr.DFM SOUTHERN RAILWAY MADURAI payable at MADURAI . Bidder has to upload scanned copy / proof of the DD along with bid and has to ensure delivery of hardcopy to the Buyer within 5 days of Bid End date / Bid Opening date.

Nominated Inspection Agency: On behalf of the Buyer organization, any one of the following Inspection Agency would be conducting inspection of stores before acceptance: Pre-dispatch Inspection at Seller Premises (applicable only if pre-dispatch inspection clause has been selected in ATC): RITES Post Receipt Inspection at consignee site before acceptance of stores: CONSIGNEE

Bidder's offer is liable to be rejected if they don't upload any of the certificates / documents sought in the Bid document, ATC and Corrigendum if any.

Buyer Added text based ATC clauses 1.Scope of supply:Supply, installation and commissioning of 160 KVA DG SET WITH AMF PANEl Make: Cummins, Kirloskar, Mahindra, Greeves cotton or similar. 2.Documentary evidence /compliance statement addressing each point shall be uploaded along with the offer for technical evaluation purposes. Failure to submit the required documents / compliance details shall render the offer liable for rejection. 3.Bidders to provide product sheet and specification sheet of offered make and model along with the offer. Failing which offer may not be considered. 4.Warranty period : 2 years. Warranty period preventive m aintenance visits per year 2 times. 5.Functional Service Center:The Bidder / OEM must have a Functional Service Center in the State of Consignee. The Functional Service Center shall be already established and fully operational at the respective location at the time of bidding. Documentary evidence to be s ubmitted at time of bidding Failing which offer may not be considered. 6.Dedicated /toll Free Telephone No. for Service Support BIDDER/OEM must have Dedi cated/toll Free Telephone No.for Service Support. 7.OEM Authorization: The bidder must be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or a n authorized OEM partner/ dealer. In case the bidder is not the OEM, a valid Bid specific authorization certificate from the OEM must be uploaded along with the bid.The authorization must specifically mention the bid ref erence number and confirm that the OEM will provide back to-back warranty and support. 8.Past Performance: The Bidder or its OEM {themselves or through re-seller(s)} should h ave supplied same or similar Category Products for 20% (ONE number)., in at least one of t he last three Financial years before the bid opening date to any Central / State Govt Organi zation / PSU. Copies of relevant contracts and CRN's (proving supply of cumulative order qu antity in any one financial year) to be submitted along with bid in support of quantity suppli ed in the relevant Financial year. 9.For Make In India Preference Clause: Local content declaration along with percentag e issued by OEM /manufacture has to be attached to be consider under MII clause. Local Content Declaration:The bidder shall declare the exact percentage of Local Content in clear numerical terms at the time of bid submission. The declaration shall be specific, unam biguous, and free from conditional or approximate expressions, and shall be supported by a valid self-certification and relevant documentary evidence as prescribed in the bid conditions. Any vague or non-specific declaration shall be treated as non-complia nt. 10.Following Certifications of the OEM must be uploaded: i)Conformity of production (COP) certificate of engine issued in name of Engine manufactur er ii)Type test report and Endurance test report for Engine a s per IS: 10001 latest / IS: 10002 latest. 11.Payment 100% Payment will be done after the Supply, Installation and Commissioning of the DG and subjected to submission of Bank Guarantee to consignee at 5% of contract v alue with validity up to 26 months. 12.Payment Condition (CMC): Comprehensive Maintenance: Comprehensive Maintenance Duration (Post Warranty) is 5 Y ear.The basic cost of the equipment shall be paid upon succesful supply, installation, and acceptance. The Comprehensive Maintenance Contract (CMC) charges shall be payable sep arately and only after completion of the warranty period, on a yearly basis, subject to satisf actory performance of services. For bid evaluation purposes, CMC charges are considered along with the equipment cost; however, payment of CMC shall not be made up front nor included in the initial product payment. 13.Inspection by RITES (Firm to please mention the place of inspection with full address and pin code). 14.Delivery Schedule :Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of one number of DG sets as follows 1. Tiruchendur, 2. Ramanathpuram, 3. Karaikkudi & 4.Virudhunagar. 15.The PERFORMANCE SECURITY: e-PBG TO BE SUBMITTED WITHIN 21 DAYS FROM DATE OF ISSUE OF CONTRACT.The Performance Guarantee to be ha nded over to CONSIGNEE within stipulated period and CONSIGNEE to follow up the e-PBG / FDR. 16.NOTE TO THE SUPPLIER: SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS ALONG WITH THE SUPPLY
