OPTION CLAUSE: The Purchaser reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity to be ordered up to 25 percent of bid quantity at the time of placement of contract. The purchaser also reserves the right to increase the ordered quantity up to 25% of the contracted quantity during the currency of the contract at the contracted rates. The delivery period of quantity shall commence from the last date of original delivery order and in cases where option clause is exercised during the extended delivery period the additional time shall commence from the last date of extended delivery period. The additional delivery time shall be (Increased quantity ÷ Original quantity) × Original delivery period (in days), subject to minimum of 30 days. If the original delivery period is less than 30 days, the additional time equals the original delivery period. The Purchaser may extend this calculated delivery duration up to the original delivery period while exercising the option clause. Bidders must comply with these terms.

Bidder financial standing: The bidder should not be under liquidation, court receivership or similar proceedings, should not be bankrupt. Bidder to upload undertaking to this effect with bid.

Bidders can also submit the EMD with Banker’s Cheque in favour of PRINCIPAL ITI GANDHINAGAR payable at GANDHINAGAR OF RS.2000 AS PER GUJRAT PROCUREMENT POLICY 2024 . Bidder has to upload scanned copy / proof of the BC along with bid and has to ensure delivery of hardcopy to the Buyer within 5 days of Bid End date / Bid Opening date.

Successful Bidder can submit the Performance Security in the form of Account Payee Demand Draft also (besides PBG which is allowed as per GeM GTC). DD should be made in favour of PRINCIPAL ITI GANDHINAGAR payable at GANDHINAGAR OF 5% OR 3% OF ORDER VALUE AS PER GUJARAT PROCUREMENT POLICY 2024 . After award of contract, Successful Bidder can upload scanned copy of the DD in place of PBG and has to ensure delivery of hard copy to the original DD to the Buyer within 15 days of award of contract.

Buyer Added text based ATC clauses 1) The agency will have to supply complete ISI standard goods at its own cost and risk at the Institute within the delivery period of 15 days otherwise penalty will be charged at the rate of 0.5% per week as per the ru les. 2) If the goods provided by the agency are not found to be in accordance with the proper specification and IS I standard after verification by the instructor, then the goods will be rejected. And the agency will be solely responsible for returning the goods at its own cost and risk and replacing the goods with appropriate specif ication and ISI standard within the time limit. 3) 3) The bill will be paid only if the agency supplies each item of the given order. Otherwise Incidents will be g enerated on GeM portal and subsequent action will be taken. So if there is a query in an item, it is advisabl e to pay the price only after getting the complete information. 4) The agency must have its office in Gujarat and GST certificate will be considered valid as supporting evide nce. 5) All bidders participating in the said BOQ bid are required to deposit the mandatory EMD amount of Rs. 20 00/- (Two Thousand) in the form of a Demand Draft at this institution within 5 days from Bid end date, as s pecified below.
