General Terms and conditions 1 The party has to bring all necessary tools, cleaning equipmen ts, safety equipments such as chemical resistant gloves, gog gles and other personal protective equipments for the cleani ng / servicing effluent treatment system. 2 Necessary barrels / carboys for the collection of the solid was te will be provided by VSSC. 3 After completion of maintenance, party shall prepare a Comp letion Report for certification by concerned officials from VSS
- C.4 Experienced labor only shall be engaged for the work. 5 Party should ensure that only well trained personnel in cleani ng such type of organic / resinous waste disposal system shal l be deputed for the maintenance work. The work has to be started within 48 hours after getting intim ation from VSSC. 6 Work has to be carried out at our site at PFC, VSSC during th e working hours from 9:00 to 17:00. 7 Safety: Contractor shall be responsible for safety of the perso ns deputed for the job. Contractor should ensure that all the p ersons involved in the cleaning job shall wear all the personal protective equipment’s including safety aprons, safety gloves , safety goggles, safety masks, safety shoes and helmets whil e carrying out the cleaning work in the process plants and lab
- s.8 VSSC shall not be responsible for any loss to the deployed pe rsons including injury, loss of life while on duty at our site du e to accidents. 9 Contractor shall arrange for all the other required tools, safet y gadgets, safety shoes, Personnel Protective equipments (P PEs) etc required for the work. 1 0 The HDPE containers/ tight head barrel will be provided by V SSC for filling the waste. Necessary opening of the barrel (Cut open the mouth) for filling has to be done by the party. 1 1 Party has to visit the site before submitting the offer to asses s the quantum of labour involved. 1 2 Payment: Pro-rata basis on completion per unit of any of the six types of works. 1 3 Contract period: This contract is for two years from the da te of release of work order. Antecedent verification: It is the responsibility of the service provider/bidder to arrange the character and antecedents of the work force engaged for duty. The service provider/ bi dder shall engage the workforce who is not having any criminal background.
- 1.Party will be held responsible for any damages or loss to VSSC/ISRO property caused due to the negligence of their work force and shall compensate to VSSC/ISRO adequately agains t such losses which will be assessed and determined by VSSC/ISRO.
- 2.VSSC/ISRO will not be responsible for any damages/claims raised by your personnel or y our subcontractors as the results of any accidents/untoward incidents occurred while worki ng in the premise of PFC/VSSC/ISRO. You shall make necessary arrangement for providing a dequate insurance to their employees to take care of any such eventualities.
- 3.You shall not claim any damages, costs, charge, expenses, liabilities arising out of perfor mance/ nonperformance of service which it may suffer or otherwise incur by reason of any act/omission, negligence, default or error in judgment on part of itself and or its personnel i n rendering or non rendering the services under this arrangement.
- 4.The employees assigned by you to ISRO/VSSC/PFC for executing the work shall be liable f or security check by the security staff of ISRO/VSSC and shall always have the right to cond uct a search of vehicle used by your employees while entering/going out of the premises or inside the premises.
- 5.ISRO/VSSC will make arrangements for the issue of temporary entry pass for the employ ees as per the written request
- 6.Necessary safety work permits shall be obtained from VSSC safety before executing the above works.
- 7.Party has to visit the site before submitting the offer to assess the quantum of labour in volved for detailed assessment of the scope of work before submitting the offer.
- 8.All equipment / tools/consumables required for the work shall be arranged by the contrac tor. Returnable materials brought inside the IPRC premises must be recorded at the IPRC g ate.
- 9.No facilities for transport, canteen, safety, medical, lodging and other amenities will be p rovided by ISRO/VSSC/IPRC to your working personnel and the contractor shall make their o wn arrangement for the same. Vendor shall not upload price details anywhere else other than in the financial document. U ploading financial bid along with the technical bid will lead to rejection of offer. Bidders claiming Purchase Preference for Class -I local supplies shall mandatorily upload a certificate from OEM regarding the percentage of the local content and the details of locatio ns at which the local value addition is made along with their bid failing to which no further preference shall be granted. .
