OPTION CLAUSE: The Purchaser reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity to be ordered up to 25 percent of bid quantity at the time of placement of contract. The purchaser also reserves the right to increase the ordered quantity up to 25% of the contracted quantity during the currency of the contract at the contracted rates. The delivery period of quantity shall commence from the last date of original delivery order and in cases where option clause is exercised during the extended delivery period the additional time shall commence from the last date of extended delivery period. The additional delivery time shall be (Increased quantity ÷ Original quantity) × Original delivery period (in days), subject to minimum of 30 days. If the original delivery period is less than 30 days, the additional time equals the original delivery period. The Purchaser may extend this calculated delivery duration up to the original delivery period while exercising the option clause. Bidders must comply with these terms.

• 3.Material must be supplied as per given address and in separate quantities (merging is not a llowed since quantity is given as per different estimate and their use will be at different works ).
• 4.As per Clause 18.1 of IS 7098 (Part 1): 2025, the manufacturer shall be identified thr oughout the length of the cable by means of a tape bearing the manufacturer name or trade mark, or being indented, printed or embossed on the cable. The Indentation, prin ting or embossing shall be done only on the outer sheath.
• 5.As per Clause 18.2 of IS 7098 (Part 1): 2025, in order to distinguish these electric ca bles from telephone cables, the word electric shall be indented, Printed or embossed t hroughout the length of the cable. The indentation, Printing or embossing shall be don e only on the outer sheath.
• 6.The following documents must be sent to consignee at the time of claiming bill.
• I.Tax invoice (GSTIN no. in tax invoice & GeM invoice should be according to supply state i.e, 20AAAGM0289C1ZX for Jharkhand, 10AAAGM0289C1ZY for Bihar and 19AAAGM0289C1ZG for West Bengal. II. GeM Invoice and Delivery Challan. III. Warranty certificate as per GeM Contract. IV. Inspection Certificate (In case of RITES Inspection)
• V.E-Way bill. VI. MA copy of DP extension (in case of late supply). VII. Test certificate as per GeM contract. VIII. Bank Mandate Form. IX. Cancelled cheque.

• 9.Material of armouring should be Galvanized steel strip. The armour round wires/formed wire s shall be applied as closely as praticable with a coverage of not less than 90 % as per Clause 14.1.2 of IS 7098 (Part 1): 2025
