OPTION CLAUSE: The Purchaser reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity to be ordered up to 25 percent of bid quantity at the time of placement of contract. The purchaser also reserves the right to increase the ordered quantity up to 25% of the contracted quantity during the currency of the contract at the contracted rates. The delivery period of quantity shall commence from the last date of original delivery order and in cases where option clause is exercised during the extended delivery period the additional time shall commence from the last date of extended delivery period. The additional delivery time shall be (Increased quantity ÷ Original quantity) × Original delivery period (in days), subject to minimum of 30 days. If the original delivery period is less than 30 days, the additional time equals the original delivery period. The Purchaser may extend this calculated delivery duration up to the original delivery period while exercising the option clause. Bidders must comply with these terms.

• 2.Bidder to read carefully Custom Specification and terms and conditi ons of this GeM Bid and understand each points and then quote in this ten der, bidder has to supply material as per BHEL Specification.
• 3.Unloading of material: Unloading of material at BHEL Premises will be done by BHEL, please keep i n mind while quoting price in this tender.
• 4.Bidder rate to be quoted on FOR BHEL FSIP JAGDISHPUR Basis only.
• 5.Payment term: Payments shall be made to the Seller within number of days (as below) from receipt of material at BHEL STORE, subject to acceptance of material at BHEL STORE. • 6.Warrantee Certificate at the time of supply: At the time of supply, Supplier to provide Warrantee for minimum 1 year from d ate of receipt of material at BHEL FSIP Jagdishpur.
• 7.Pre Dispatch Inspection – Pre-dispatch inspection shall be conducted at t he vendor’s site. Vendor has to raise inspection call at least 7 days before in spection date.
• 8.Final inspection shall be done at BHEL FSIP Jagdishpur after receipt of material.
• 9.Delivery period: 14 weeks from GeM Contract date.
• 10.LIQUIDATED DAMAGE: If the Seller/Service Provider fails to deliver any or all of the Goods/ Services within the original/re-fixed delivery period(s) specified in the contract/PO, the Buyer/BHEL wil l be entitled to deduct/recover the Liquidated Damages for the delay, unless covered under Force Maj eure conditions aforesaid, @ 0.5% of the contract value of delayed quantity per week or part of th e week of delayed period as pre-estimated damages not exceeding 10% of the undelivered port ion contract value without any controversy/dispute of any sort whatsoever.
