OPTION CLAUSE: The Purchaser reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity to be ordered up to 25 percent of bid quantity at the time of placement of contract. The purchaser also reserves the right to increase the ordered quantity up to 25% of the contracted quantity during the currency of the contract at the contracted rates. The delivery period of quantity shall commence from the last date of original delivery order and in cases where option clause is exercised during the extended delivery period the additional time shall commence from the last date of extended delivery period. The additional delivery time shall be (Increased quantity ÷ Original quantity) × Original delivery period (in days), subject to minimum of 30 days. If the original delivery period is less than 30 days, the additional time equals the original delivery period. The Purchaser may extend this calculated delivery duration up to the original delivery period while exercising the option clause. Bidders must comply with these terms.

• (ATC)- in GeM Tendering):
• a)Every gold safe shall be provided with a permanent identification metallic plate as per applicable BIS standards should be fixed by using riveting/wielding. The plate sha ll be engraved (not printed or pasted) with the following: -
• i)Manufacturer’s name / trademark. ii) BIS Certification Mark (Standard Mark) with CM/L number. iii) Safe model/type and class (e.g., Class A / AA / AAA). iv) Standard reference (e.g., IS number with latest revision).
• v)Year of manufacture. vi) Unique serial number. vii) Engraving shall be legible, indelible, and tamper evident. viii) Affixing QR Code:- QR Code must be affixed by OEM on each Gold Safe before dispatching it to Bank with having above mentioned information, securely to prevent any tem pering).
• b)OEM has to provide Undertaking for Declaration of Gold Safes Specifications as per t ype tested Gold Safes for BIS Certification on OEM’s Letter Head.
• c)All wires in Gold Safe must be properly insulated.
• d)Vibration Sensor must be installed inside the safe door appropriately.
• e)Gold Safes Class A, AA & AAA either with Shelves & Trays (with or without Drawers) or with KDM (Key Deter Mechanism) as required to be considered for procurement (I nside Gold Safe)..
• f)Each Drawer must be provided with 02 removable vertical partitions.
• g)The biometric lock should have minimum battery life of 1 year. The autodialled syst em should be capable of sending required /applicable Call/SMS Alerts for duress even ts (silent alarm only) during working hours, such Alerts should go to staff other than t he Branch Staff.
• h)The intrusion-related SMS/Call alerts should be generated during non-working hours and holidays, including activation of siren / fogging system as applicable during any i ncident.
• i)At any point of time only two authorized custodians be permitted to operate Biomet ric Lock.
• j)Fogging System must operate on standalone battery having optimum useful life for operating the fogging system at least twice successfully during attempts/incidents.
• k)The Biometric Device with Lock /Sensors/Fogging Device/Auto Dialer must have the certification by BIS/ any other applicable Certification if applicable.
• l)Bank has right to go random testing of Gold Safes, if deemed necessary.
• m)OEM indemnity bond (to ensure testing on cost sharing Basis / Recovery of compens ation cost on failure of re-tested Gold Safe during testing.
• n)OEM or Authorised Dealer must have sale and service centre at Malda, Uttar Dinajp ur and Dakshin Dinajpur (The serviceable area under PNB Circle Office Malda). GST c ertificate and Trade License of Local sales and services to be uploaded as a proof.
• o)OEM should have operating sales and service office within the State of West Bengal. GST certificate and Trade License should have been uploaded as a proof. Considering the high potential and demand of Gold Loan, procurement of Gold Safes through GeM portal for the authorized branches is placed for approval and upon appr oval order will preferably be given in the proportion of 4:2:1 to L1, L2 and L3 respecti vely at the price fixed under reverse bidding pricing process. .
