OPTION CLAUSE: The Purchaser reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity to be ordered up to 25 percent of bid quantity at the time of placement of contract. The purchaser also reserves the right to increase the ordered quantity up to 25% of the contracted quantity during the currency of the contract at the contracted rates. The delivery period of quantity shall commence from the last date of original delivery order and in cases where option clause is exercised during the extended delivery period the additional time shall commence from the last date of extended delivery period. The additional delivery time shall be (Increased quantity ÷ Original quantity) × Original delivery period (in days), subject to minimum of 30 days. If the original delivery period is less than 30 days, the additional time equals the original delivery period. The Purchaser may extend this calculated delivery duration up to the original delivery period while exercising the option clause. Bidders must comply with these terms.

  • 10.Custom Duty: U R Rao Satellite Centre [URSC], Bengaluru is eligible for "Nil" Customs Duty vide Notification No.45/2025 customs dated 24.10.2025, SI no. 340 and further amended vide Notification no. 0 2/2026-customs dated 01.02.2026. The necessary Customs Duty Exemption Certificate (CDEC) shall be pro vided by URSC only to those bidders who claim Purchase Preference under Make in India Policy and fulfil al l requirements of tender document applicable for Indigenous Manufacturer i.e., Class-I/Class-2 local supplie
  • r.Such Class-I/Class-2 local suppliers have to take note of this aspect and submit their Offer clearly mentio ning the quoted Price arrived by considering the Nil Custom Duty as per above Notification. While requesti ng for issue of CDEC for the imported contents, the Tenderer[s] should mention the Item Description, Quan tity and Value for which CDEC is to be provided for the bought out Imported Items. The necessary docume ntary proofs like P.O., on their Supplier, Invoice, AWB shall be produced while requesting for issue of CDEC from URSC.
  • 11.Non compliance of any techno-commercial terms and conditions will not be evaluated
  • 12.Bill of Material with OEM Part Nos [without Price] for major components shall be provided.
  • 13.Payment Terms: 70% of the Payment shall be made within 30 days after completion of delivery and su ccessful inspection of the item at URSC stores & acceptance & CRAC generation by URSC. CRAC will be ge nerated only after inspection and acceptance of item after 15 days of receipt of item. Remaining 30% pay ment shall be made after successful installation and commissioning of all the Workstations and accessories duly verified & certified by the user division. Vendors are requested to upload the invoice in GeM for 70% o f the Quoted Value and remaining 30 % shall be claimed after successful completion of installation and acc eptance of item at URSC.
  • 15.Delivery period : 14 Weeks for Supply and 4 Weeks for installation after supply of items. Total 18 Week s for the supply and installation of systems from the date of PO acceptance. No separate intimation of site readiness from URSC. .

Warranty

Warranty period of the supplied products shall be 5 years from the date of final acceptance of goods or aft er completion of installation, commissioning & testing of goods (if included in the scope of supply), at consignee location. OEM Warranty certificates must be submitted by Successful Bidder at the time of deliv ery of Goods. The seller should guarantee the rectification of goods in case of any break down during the guarantee period. Seller should have well established Installation, Commissioning, Training, Troublesh ooting and Maintenance Service group in INDIA for attending the after sales service. Details of Service Cen tres near consignee destinations are to be uploaded along with the bid. .

  • 4.Rate Contract Non return of Hard Disk: As per Buyer organization’s Security Policy,Faulty Hard Disk of Servers/Desktop Computers/ Laptops etc. will not be returned back to the OEM/supplier against warranty replacement.
