Scope of supply (Bid price to include all cost components) : Supply Installation Testing and Commissioning of Goods

Buyer Added text based ATC clauses Retrofit of 110 kW, 440 V SGC Lube Oil Pump-1 Draw-Out DOL Starter Unit The scope shall include the following activities but not limit on a complete supply, installation, testing and commissioning (SITC) basis:

• 1.Supply of OEM Retrofit Kit and Components o Supply of complete OEM-compatible retrofit kit for the existing L&T/L&K make 110 kW, 440 V Draw-Out DOL Starter assembly. o Supply of all components as per the approved component-wise offer, including contactor, s preader link kit, electronic motor protection relay, protection and metering CTs, control co ntactors, digital SPP, actuators, contact blocks, selector switch, LED indicators, MCBs and L yra contact assemblies. o Supply of incoming and outgoing Lyra contact assemblies as required for proper integratio n with the existing MCC busbar and starter draw-out arrangement. o Supply of all associated busbars, connectors, insulation materials, barriers, supports, fasten ers, mounting hardware and accessories required for complete and reliable restoration.
• 2.Engineering and Compatibility Verification o Review of the existing starter assembly and confirmation of compatibility of the proposed r etrofit components with the existing panel. o Preparation/provision of the OEM retrofit scheme, component-wise details and connection a rrangement. o Verification of mechanical dimensions, busbar spacing, contact alignment, insulation cleara nces, electrical ratings and draw-out interface compatibility. o Any minor modifications required for proper OEM-compatible integration shall be included i n the quoted scope.
• 3.Dismantling and Removal o Safe dismantling and removal of damaged Lyra contacts, busbar links, power connection co mponents and other defective components identified for replacement. o Removal of associated damaged insulation, supports, hardware and accessories, wherever required.
• 4.Installation and Retrofitting o Installation of new fixed and moving Lyra contact assemblies for the incoming and outgoing power connections. o Reconstruction/installation of the busbar and power connection arrangement, including the connection between the starter incoming contact assembly and the FN 400 SFU/Isolator. o Installation of the quoted contactor, protection relay, CTs, control components, indicators, MCBs and other retrofit components. o Installation of required insulation, barriers, supports, shrouds, fasteners and mounting hard ware. o Proper tightening, alignment, phase identification, clearances and termination of all power and control connections.
• 5.Mechanical and Electrical Interlocking o Checking and restoration of the draw-out mechanism, racking-in/racking-out operation and alignment. o Verification and restoration of mechanical interlocking and electrical interlocking/safety pro visions. o Ensuring that the starter cannot be operated in an unsafe or improperly engaged position.
• 6.Testing o Visual inspection and verification of all installed components and connections. o Checking of busbar joints, contact engagement, contact pressure/alignment and mechanica l clearances. o Insulation resistance test of power and control circuits, as applicable. o Continuity and functional checks of control wiring, interlocks, protection and indication circ uits. o Functional testing of the contactor, protection relay, CT circuits, SPP relay, control contacto rs, selector switch, MCBs and indication lamps. o Verification of phase sequence, power circuit continuity and correct operation of the draw-o ut assembly. o Any other routine/pre-commissioning tests recommended by the OEM for safe energisation.
• 7.Commissioning o Energisation and no-load functional testing of the retrofitted starter in coordination with BV FCL Electrical Department. o Verification of normal starting, running, protection, indication and tripping functions. o Rectification of any defects/abnormalities observed during testing or commissioning at no a dditional cost.
• 8.Documentation and Handover o Submission of OEM retrofit scheme/connection details/ circuit diagram and test reports. o Submission of warranty documents and confirmation of OEM compatibility. o Handover of the complete retrofitted starter assembly in safe, tested and operational condi tion.
• 9.General Requirements o All materials shall be new, genuine and OEM-compatible. o The contractor/OEM shall provide all tools, tackles, consumables, installation hardware and manpower required for completion of the work. o The complete work shall be executed in accordance with applicable electrical safety practic es and BVFCL site requirements. o The quoted retrofitting charges shall be deemed inclusive of all busbar work, accessories, i nstallation, testing and commissioning requirements necessary for successful repair of the starter. o The work shall be completed within 6 hours of panel shutdown.
• 10.The material shall guaranteed against any manufacturing defects or bad workmanship for a peri od of 18 months from date of supply or 12 months from the date of commissioning whichever is ea rlier. .
