OPTION CLAUSE: The Purchaser reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity to be ordered up to 25 percent of bid quantity at the time of placement of contract. The purchaser also reserves the right to increase the ordered quantity up to 25% of the contracted quantity during the currency of the contract at the contracted rates. The delivery period of quantity shall commence from the last date of original delivery order and in cases where option clause is exercised during the extended delivery period the additional time shall commence from the last date of extended delivery period. The additional delivery time shall be (Increased quantity ÷ Original quantity) × Original delivery period (in days), subject to minimum of 30 days. If the original delivery period is less than 30 days, the additional time equals the original delivery period. The Purchaser may extend this calculated delivery duration up to the original delivery period while exercising the option clause. Bidders must comply with these terms.

• 1.Past Experience: Submit details of previous experience in supplying similar products/Weighing Scales .
• 2.Service Support: Must have an authorized Service Centre located within the consignee district. 3.Mandatory Compliance: Failure to submit the relevant documents will result in unconditional disqualifica tion. 4.Committee Approval: Bidders shall be required to submit samples as and when directed by the Procurem ent Committee for technical evaluation and approval. . 5.Fixed Price Guarantee: Quoted unit prices must remain firm and fixed for the entirecontract duration, in cl usive of GST, packing, loading, freight, and unloading costs at the delivery point. 6.Delivery Schedule & Liquidated Damages: All items must be delivered within the stipulate d timeframe ( e.g., 30 days from PO i ssuing). Failure to meet the schedule will attract a penalty (Liquidated Damages) of 0.5% to 1% per week of delay, up to a maximum cap of 10% of the to tal order value. 6.Material must be supplied in standard multi-layer protective pa ckaging to prevent denting, scratches, or moisture damage during transit to the consignee site. However, the final decision rests with the procurement committee .
