OPTION CLAUSE: The Purchaser reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity to be ordered up to 25 percent of bid quantity at the time of placement of contract. The purchaser also reserves the right to increase the ordered quantity up to 25% of the contracted quantity during the currency of the contract at the contracted rates. The delivery period of quantity shall commence from the last date of original delivery order and in cases where option clause is exercised during the extended delivery period the additional time shall commence from the last date of extended delivery period. The additional delivery time shall be (Increased quantity ÷ Original quantity) × Original delivery period (in days), subject to minimum of 30 days. If the original delivery period is less than 30 days, the additional time equals the original delivery period. The Purchaser may extend this calculated delivery duration up to the original delivery period while exercising the option clause. Bidders must comply with these terms.

• 2.Rejection Condition- Any material found not conforming to IS 1084:2005, Grade 1 breaking-strength requirement, specified diameter/length, genuine Manila/Abaca fibre requirement, BIS/ISI marking or submit ted test certificate shall be liable for rejection and replacement by the supplier at no additional cost to the Buyer. 3.Test Reports and Certifications: The firm must also provide a test report and certifications from a laborat ory accredited by the Central Government, NABL, or ILAC, to certify that the supplied material conforms to the prescribed specifications.
• 4.As confirming to IS 1084:2005, type of manila rope- Hawser-laid, grade of manila rope-Grade 1, nos. of s trands- 3, lay of manila ropes-Z, BIS marking-IS 1084:2005 (Clause 12.2), Availability of Test Report from C entral Govt/Nabl/ILAC Accredited Lab to Prove Conformity to Specification, Genuine Abaca/Manila fibre, Bat ch-wise test certificate, Random third-party breaking-strength/fibre testing. No splice/joint-(Each coil shall be continuous throughout its length and shall be free from loose ends, splices, joints, serious defects and u nacceptable manufacturing defect. Genuine Manila fibre-(Rope shall be manufactured from genuine Manila /Abaça fibre [Musa textilis), without admixture/substitution of sisal, jute, coir, synthetic fibre or other fibre.) , Length of each Coil:- Not less than 220 m in accordance with IS: 1084:2005(latest edition). .
