OPTION CLAUSE 25% : The buyer can increase or decrease the contract quantity or contract duration up to 25 percent at the time of issue of the contract. However, once the contract is issued, the contract quantity or contract duration can only be increased up to 25 percent. Bidders are bound to accept the revised quantity or duration. For lumpsum-based service contracts, the buyer may increase the scope of work and contract value up to 25 percent with the consent of the service provider

Consortium: In case of Contracts, wherein the seller alone does not have necessary expertise, the seller can form consortium with other sellers for submission of the bid, with one of the consortium company as leader. However, each and every member of the consortium shall be equally responsible for the complete execution of the project contract. An undertaking to this effect is to be uploaded with bid.

Buyer Added text based ATC clauses

• 1.Scope Of Work: The service provider (Transporter) shall provide 3 Nos. of 19 FT Open Body LCV Trucks for shifting of BSF Unit stores from Bhanupratappur, Chhattisgarh to Dig beria BSF camp, Madhyamgram, West Bengal.
• 2.Reporting Authority and Timely Delivery: The transporter shall ensure that all vehicles (3 Trucks) must report at Bha nupratappur, Chhattisgarh on the starting date of Contract period at 0600 hrs . The vehicles shall be released after unloading of the cargo on the same day or at the latest, on the following day.
• 3.Security Clearance and Driver Verification:
• (a)The Driver and helper provided with the vehicles must possess a valid drivin g License and official ID Proof (Aadhar card).
• (b)Due to sensitive nature of military cargo, no unauthorized person will be all owe inside the vehicle during transit.
• 4.Vehicle Condition:
• (a)The Vehicle must be in excellent mechanical condition, with a valid National Permit, Fitness Certificate, Pollution Certificate (PUC), and comprehensive insur ance.
• (b)The truck must be equipped with waterproof tarpaulins (tirpal) and rope s to protect the store from weather conditions (rain/sun).
• 5.Loading and Unloading: The loading of BSF store at the source station and unloading at the destination station will be managed by the BSF Troops.
• 6.Route and Transit Security:
• (a)The driver must follow the designated safe route prescribed by the BSF auth orities.
• (b)Unnecessary midway halts or detours without informing the accompanying B SF representative/unit are strictly prohibited.
• (c)In case of any vehicle breakdown, the transporter must arrange an alternativ e vehicle of similar capacity within 10 hours at their own expense.
• 7.Consignee and Payment Terms:
• (a)The Consignee for this contract will be the officer in-charge of the 178 BN BS

• (b)Payment will be processed only after the successful delivery of the store and generation of the Consignee Receipt and Acceptance Certificate (CRAC) on the GeM Portal. No advance Payment will be made. .
