OPTION CLAUSE 25% : The buyer can increase or decrease the contract quantity or contract duration up to 25 percent at the time of issue of the contract. However, once the contract is issued, the contract quantity or contract duration can only be increased up to 25 percent. Bidders are bound to accept the revised quantity or duration. For lumpsum-based service contracts, the buyer may increase the scope of work and contract value up to 25 percent with the consent of the service provider

Bidders can also submit the EMD with Account Payee Demand Draft in favour of Principal Government MCA College, Maninagar payable at Ahmedabad . Bidder has to upload scanned copy / proof of the DD along with bid and has to ensure delivery of hardcopy to the Buyer within 5 days of Bid End date / Bid Opening date.

Bidder's offer is liable to be rejected if they don't upload any of the certificates / documents sought in the Bid document, ATC and Corrigendum if any.

• 1.Bidder must have Registered Office or One of The Branch Offices at Ahmedabad or Gandhinagar Locations is MANDATORY.
• 2.The participating agencies may visit the office before submitting the tender to understand the local site co nditions and obtain detailed information regarding the nature of the work, requirements, existing condition s of the institution, etc.
• 3.The tenderer shall submit an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) 3% of estimated price which is ₹11073/- in the form of a Demand Draft issued by SBI Bank / any Nationalized Bank, drawn in favour of “PRINCIPAL, Gover nment MCA College”. The original Demand Draft shall be submitted at the College along with the required details before the last date of bid submission.
• 4.EMD exemption is applicable, if the bidder shall upload the required supporting documents on GeM, as pre scribed under the Gujarat Purchase Policy, 2024, including a valid NSIC/CSPO certificate and UDYAM Regist ration Certificate.
• 5.Turnover and Experience exemption is applicable to Start-up agencies, the required documents as per the Gujarat Purchase Policy, 2024 (NSIC/CSPO, DPIIT and UDYAM Certificate) shall be submitted and uploaded on GeM.
• 6.The ePBG / Security Deposit amount 5% of estimated price, ₹18456 shall be submitted in favour of “PRINCI PAL, Government MCA College” upon acceptance of the tender. The agency shall furnish an undertaking to this effect.
• 7.The Security Deposit shall be refunded to the agency after one month from the completion of the contract period, subject to satisfactory performance of the work and settlement of the bills. No interest of any kind s hall be payable on the Security Deposit amount.
• 8.The agency shall comply with all applicable labour contract, labour license, and Provident Fund (PF) rules a nd regulations. The agency shall produce the relevant documents pertaining to such statutory compliance s whenever demanded by the competent authority of the institution. Further, along with each month's bill, the agency shall mandatorily submit documents for the preceding month evidencing payment of minimum wages and the deductions/deposits made towards Provident Fund (PF) and ESIC. .

PAYMENT OF SALARIES AND WAGES: Service Provider is required to pay Salaries / wages of contracted staff deployed at buyer location first i.e. on their own and then claim payment from Buyer alongwith all statutory documents like, PF, ESIC etc. as well as the bank statement of payment done to staff.

Successful Bidder can submit the Performance Security in the form of Account Payee Demand Draft also (besides PBG which is allowed as per GeM GTC). DD should be made in favour of Principal Government MCA College payable at Ahmedabad . After award of contract, Successful Bidder can upload scanned copy of the DD in place of PBG and has to ensure delivery of hard copy to the original DD to the Buyer within 15 days of award of contract.
