OPTION CLAUSE: The Purchaser reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity to be ordered up to 25 percent of bid quantity at the time of placement of contract. The purchaser also reserves the right to increase the ordered quantity up to 25% of the contracted quantity during the currency of the contract at the contracted rates. The delivery period of quantity shall commence from the last date of original delivery order and in cases where option clause is exercised during the extended delivery period the additional time shall commence from the last date of extended delivery period. The additional delivery time shall be (Increased quantity ÷ Original quantity) × Original delivery period (in days), subject to minimum of 30 days. If the original delivery period is less than 30 days, the additional time equals the original delivery period. The Purchaser may extend this calculated delivery duration up to the original delivery period while exercising the option clause. Bidders must comply with these terms.

• 1.In case of any contradiction between numbers / values/ terms and conditions reflecting on GeM portal a nd Tender document(s) (like NIT, ITB, SPC, GPC , MTC etc.), the numbers / values / terms and conditions m entioned in the Tender document(s) shall prevail.
• 2.It is mandatory for all bidders to upload the price break-up in the prescribed format, duly filled, signed, a nd stamped, as part of their bid on the GeM portal. The priced bid shall not be disclosed anywhere in the u npriced bid and shall be quoted separately only in the price bid section on the GeM portal. Submission of p rices in the unpriced bid will be treated as a rejection criterion.
• 3.This enquiry is issued on ‘Limited Bidding’ basis only to T.EN/BPCL enlisted suppliers for items as specifi ed per MR/ technical section. A Separate intimation to the T.EN/BPCL suppliers eligible for this enquiry shal l be sent through mail subsequent to issue of enquiry in Gem Portal. Only those suppliers who are intimate d of publication of the enquiry through T.EN e-mail will be eligible to submit their bids. Bids received from any other supplier shall not be considered for evaluation and shall be rejected. In case a bidder does not re gister on the GeM Portal and as a consequence, does not submit their bid on GeM Portal, it shall be deeme d that he is not interested in bidding against this enquiry and no further correspondence will be entertaine
