OPTION CLAUSE: The Purchaser reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity to be ordered up to 25 percent of bid quantity at the time of placement of contract. The purchaser also reserves the right to increase the ordered quantity up to 25% of the contracted quantity during the currency of the contract at the contracted rates. The delivery period of quantity shall commence from the last date of original delivery order and in cases where option clause is exercised during the extended delivery period the additional time shall commence from the last date of extended delivery period. The additional delivery time shall be (Increased quantity ÷ Original quantity) × Original delivery period (in days), subject to minimum of 30 days. If the original delivery period is less than 30 days, the additional time equals the original delivery period. The Purchaser may extend this calculated delivery duration up to the original delivery period while exercising the option clause. Bidders must comply with these terms.

• 1.The item shall be supplied as per the Specification and drawing Description enclosed. If any dev iation in specification may be separately attached.
• 2.The bidder shall offer the price on "F.O.R Salem Steel Plant" basis in GeM portal including P&F c harges, Freight & Insurance Charges etc with applicable taxes & duties.
• 3.The payment shall be "100% within 30 days after receipt and acceptance of the item at Salem S teel Plant Stores".
• 4.Unless otherwise specified in the tender terms, the inspection will be at Salem Steel Plant after r eceipt of the consignment.
• 5.The bidder shall not quote/attach any price/price bid format along with their technical offer. The offer of such bidder will be summarily rejected.
• 6.The MSE preferences shall only be given to bidders subject to submission/verification of valid U dyam Certificate with relevant NIC code for the quoted item.
• 7.The prices shall be kept firm till supplies are completed.
• 8.The bidder shall enclose signed and sealed copy of the technical specification, as a token to acc eptance to the tendered item's specification
• 9.Delivery Schedule: 7 weeks from the date of order placement.
• 10.The applicable EMD amount is Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only), However, bidders can submit "Bid Securing Declaration" in lieu of EMD, duly signed & sealed. MSE Bidders are exempted from EMD subject to submission of UDYAM registration / NSIC certificate.
• 11.The formats for Form-1: Undertaking, Form-2: Statement of Deviation, Form-3: Details of Docu ments w.r.t. Eligibility Criteria and Form-4: Checklist are enclosed. Kindly fill in the forms and sub mit the same duly signed on your letterhead, along with your offer.
• 12.The bidder shall submit the required documents sought under the "Eligibility Criteria" for evalu ation of their offer.
• 13.Salem Steel Plant is registered on TREDS Platform with invoicemart.com (Https://www.invoice ment.com//). MSE Vendors may avail this benefit.
• 14.Kindly note that Quantity is divisible.
• 15.Kindly note that Pressure test certificate is to be furnished along with the supply. .

Bidders are advised to check applicable GST on their own before quoting. Buyer will not take any responsibility in this regards. GST reimbursement will be as per actuals or as per applicable rates (whichever is lower), subject to the maximum of quoted GST %.
