OPTION CLAUSE: The Purchaser reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity to be ordered up to 25 percent of bid quantity at the time of placement of contract. The purchaser also reserves the right to increase the ordered quantity up to 25% of the contracted quantity during the currency of the contract at the contracted rates. The delivery period of quantity shall commence from the last date of original delivery order and in cases where option clause is exercised during the extended delivery period the additional time shall commence from the last date of extended delivery period. The additional delivery time shall be (Increased quantity ÷ Original quantity) × Original delivery period (in days), subject to minimum of 30 days. If the original delivery period is less than 30 days, the additional time equals the original delivery period. The Purchaser may extend this calculated delivery duration up to the original delivery period while exercising the option clause. Bidders must comply with these terms.

Buyer Added text based ATC clauses This Buyer Added Bid Document is an integral part of the GeM bid and is to be read together with the GeM Bid Docu ment, GeM General Terms and Conditions (GTC), category specifications and applicable policies. In case of any incon sistency, the provisions of the GeM bid/GTC shall prevail to the extent applicable. Prospective bidders shall carefully examine and comply with the following terms, conditions, technical requirements and document requirements while submitting their bids. Point to Note: 1) Scope of supply: The quoted price shall be inclusive of all items, accessories, consumables, transportation, inst allation, testing, commissioning and incidental works necessary for complete and satisfactory operation of the equip ment at site. Supply, installation, testing and commissioning shall be carried out by the supplier without any additio nal cost, including transportation, unloading, shifting, mounting, refrigerant piping, drainage, electrical connections, leak testing, evacuation/vacuuming, trial run and demonstration, wherever applicable 2) Hence, this clause superceeds the GeM default clause (b) of scope of standard installation and commissioning. Th e bidders are requested to quote the price bid inclusive of all installation components including spares, cabling, pipi ng and other incidents required during installation and testing. .

Participation by the bidder in RA process would be considered as their consent for extension in offer validity by 30 days by the date of RA initiation.
