Special Eligibility Criteria

1. Regular/Bulk order shall be placed on sources approved by RDSO ( in Approved category) for Thin Walled Flexible Elastomeric Cables with copper conductors as per RDSO specification no. ELRS/SPEC/ELC/0019, Rev-4.
2. Developmental order (s) shall be placed on sources approved by RDSO ( in Developmental category) for Thin Walled Flexible Elastomeric Cables with copper conductors as per RDSO specification no. ELRS/SPEC/ELC/0019, Rev-4.

Payment Terms

100% payment against receipt, inspection and acceptance of material by the consignee at destination.

Statutory Variation Clause

Statutory Variation in taxes and duties, or fresh imposition of taxes and duties by State/ Central Governments in respect of the items stipulated in the contract (and not the raw materials thereof), within the original delivery period stipulated in the contract, or last unconditionally extended delivery period shall be to Railways' account. Only such variation shall be admissible which takes place after the submission of bid. No claim on account of statutory variation in respect of existing tax/duty will be accepted unless the tenderer has clearly indicated in his offer the rate of tax/duty considered in his quoted rate. No claim on account of statutory variation shall be admissible on account of misclassification by the supplier/ contractor.

Option Clause

The purchaser shall be entitled to vary the order quantity upto + 30% anytime within the delivery period (including extended delivery period) on the same terms and conditions. The increase in quantity with respect to the tender quantity can be done even at the time of ordering and the tenderer shall be bound to accept the quantity so ordered on the basis of his original offer. The purchaser shall be entitled to exercise + 30% option clause in one or more than one instalment as long as the total variation in quantity does not exceed the limit of 30% of ordered quantity.

IRS Conditions of Contract The contract shall be governed by latest version (along with all correction slips) of IRS conditions of contract, and all other terms and conditions incorporated in the tender documents.

PRICE VARIATION CLAUSE Applicable as per Annexure-X enclosed based on IEEMA price of copper wire rod for the month of SEPT-2026..
SPECIAL PACKING CONDITION Cables to be supplied in the multiple lengths of 50/100 Mtrs only except last packing applicable for left out quantity. Plus or minus 5% tolerance on individual packing and overall quantity is also applicable.
QUANTITY SPLITTING AS PER CLAUSE NO.2.17.2 OF BID DOCUMENT VERSION 14.0 OR LATEST WITH ALL CORRIGENDUMS AND AMENDMENTS IF ANY ISSUED BEFORE TENDER CLOSING.

Delivery Period- 5000 mtr of PL No. 33620910 and 11000 mtr of PL No. 33622115 to be supplied within 60 days from the date of issue of purchase order. Supply of balance quantity of all items and other items: 50% quantity to be start from 01/04/2027 and to be completed by 31/05/2027 and balance 50% quantity to be start from 01/06/2027 and completed by 31/07/2027.
Bid document version 14.0 or latest with corrigendums and amendments if any, issued before tender closing shall be applicable. Latest version of bid document along with all corrigendums and amendments is available on IREPS website.
