OPTION CLAUSE: The Purchaser reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity to be ordered up to 25 percent of bid quantity at the time of placement of contract. The purchaser also reserves the right to increase the ordered quantity up to 25% of the contracted quantity during the currency of the contract at the contracted rates. The delivery period of quantity shall commence from the last date of original delivery order and in cases where option clause is exercised during the extended delivery period the additional time shall commence from the last date of extended delivery period. The additional delivery time shall be (Increased quantity ÷ Original quantity) × Original delivery period (in days), subject to minimum of 30 days. If the original delivery period is less than 30 days, the additional time equals the original delivery period. The Purchaser may extend this calculated delivery duration up to the original delivery period while exercising the option clause. Bidders must comply with these terms.

• 3.Bidders to attach document confirming that the material will be supplied as per description / specification mentione d in bid ATC.
• 1.ELGIBILITY CRITERIA a] The tenderer with past performance of satisfactory execution of contracts to SC Railway, or Other Zonal Railways/PUS/ any Central / State Govt Organization / PSU for supply of the same / similar items for a quantity of 20 percent or more of tendered quantity against a single contr act during last three years prior to, and excluding tender opening date may be considered as r esponsive to SC Railways requirements for placement of bulk and regular order. Tenderers are requested to submit the past performance report such as Copies of R Notes /CR AC /Proof of acceptance of material by consignee etc. along with their offer; failing which offe r will be summarily rejected without making any back reference. However, in cases where the tenderne are having satisfactory past supply performances of tendered items for stock/Non st ock items with SCR, the supply performance data available in iMMIS with SCR shall be taken in to consideration while evaluating the offers of the tenderers.
• 2.Bidders are advised to bring any deviation(s) from the additional specification s provided. I n case, these deviations are not indicated, it will be presumed that the offer of bidder is as pe r additional specification in all respect. Any ambiguity shall be to the disadvantage of the bidd er.
