OPTION CLAUSE: The Purchaser reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity to be ordered up to 25 percent of bid quantity at the time of placement of contract. The purchaser also reserves the right to increase the ordered quantity up to 25% of the contracted quantity during the currency of the contract at the contracted rates. The delivery period of quantity shall commence from the last date of original delivery order and in cases where option clause is exercised during the extended delivery period the additional time shall commence from the last date of extended delivery period. The additional delivery time shall be (Increased quantity ÷ Original quantity) × Original delivery period (in days), subject to minimum of 30 days. If the original delivery period is less than 30 days, the additional time equals the original delivery period. The Purchaser may extend this calculated delivery duration up to the original delivery period while exercising the option clause. Bidders must comply with these terms.

• 1.Queries Submission Timeline clause - All prospective bidders are hereby instructed to submit any queries or requests for clarification rel ated to this tender within the timeline defined in GeM. Any queries received after the stipulated de adline will not be entertained or responded to by OIL. Queries must be submitted in writing via em ail to gitasree_sarmah@oilindia.in. Please ensure that the subject line of your email clearly stat es 'Tender Query - [Tender No. & Name]'.
• 2.Avoidance of Extension for Bid Submission clause - Bidders are earnestly advised to ensure that their bid submissions are prepared and submitted in accordance with the deadlines specified in this tender document. OIL has taken all necessary step s to establish reasonable timelines for the submission of bids to allow ample time for thorough pre paration. As a matter of policy, OIL will only consider granting an extension of the bid submission due date as a onetime exception in situations deemed unavoidable. Such extensions will be grante d solely at the discretion of OIL and only in response to a written request from the bidder (mail to gitasree_sarmah@oilindia.in), submitted in accordance with the procedures outlined in this ten der document. It is hereby emphasized that OIL will not entertain or consider any requests for an extension of the bid submission due date, except in cases where OIL deems such extension unavo idable and the bidder submits a formal written request, detailing the compelling circumstances ne cessitating the extension. Bidders are therefore strongly advised to refrain from seeking an extens ion of the bid submission due date unless absolutely necessary due to unforeseen and unavoidabl e circumstances. By participating in this tender process, all bidders acknowledge and accept the t erms and conditions outlined in this Avoidance of Bid Submission Due Date Extensions clause.
• 3.Bidders are advised to check the Buyer uploaded ATC document for the following:
• a.Detailed item specification: Offer must be submitted based on the detailed specification provided under ATC. The ATC specification supersedes the G EM Category specification.
• b.Bidders are requested to submit all the Proformas dully filled and signed as per the requirement of the GEM bid.
• c.Tender special terms .

Bidder's offer is liable to be rejected if they don't upload any of the certificates / documents sought in the Bid document, ATC and Corrigendum if any.
