OPTION CLAUSE: The Purchaser reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity to be ordered up to 25 percent of bid quantity at the time of placement of contract. The purchaser also reserves the right to increase the ordered quantity up to 25% of the contracted quantity during the currency of the contract at the contracted rates. The delivery period of quantity shall commence from the last date of original delivery order and in cases where option clause is exercised during the extended delivery period the additional time shall commence from the last date of extended delivery period. The additional delivery time shall be (Increased quantity ÷ Original quantity) × Original delivery period (in days), subject to minimum of 30 days. If the original delivery period is less than 30 days, the additional time equals the original delivery period. The Purchaser may extend this calculated delivery duration up to the original delivery period while exercising the option clause. Bidders must comply with these terms.

1.Delivery Schedule/Type Delivery should be staggered delivery against our call-up in 2 Lots of 5000kg within the entire cont ract period. Material should be delivered on FOR basis, at our plant Manali, Chennai - 600 068. NOTE: Without call-up from Balmer Lawrie, the successful contractor sho uld not supply the material, even though the GEM contract has been rele ased. If the contractor supplied the material without BL call-up, BL would not accept the material.
2.Price Rate should be Inclusive of loading and unloading charges at both ends. The rate quoted by you shall be remain firm till complete execution of entire order quantity of our PO.
3.Technical Specification of Hydrated Lime Bidders are advised to follow the below specification strictly. Parameter Range Appearance White ﬁne powder, free ﬂowing, free from lumps Available Calcium Hydroxide, % Mi n 90 Solubility, Slurry in water at ambie nt temperature Sediments should be free from b lack particles. Acid Insoluble, % by wt. 0.5 *Particles Passing through:
a)45 Micron [ 325 mesh] IS sieve, % by mass, min : 85.0
b)75 Micron [ 200 mesh] IS sieve, % by mass, min : 95.0 N.B.: Vendors have to submit batch wise test certiﬁcate along with ev ery consignment at the time of actual supply .
