Payments shall be made to the Seller within 45 days of issue of consignee receipt-cum-acceptance certificate (CRAC) and on-line submission of bills (This is in supersession of 10 days time as provided in clause 12 of GeM GTC)

OPTION CLAUSE: The Purchaser reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity to be ordered up to 25 percent of bid quantity at the time of placement of contract. The purchaser also reserves the right to increase the ordered quantity up to 25% of the contracted quantity during the currency of the contract at the contracted rates. The delivery period of quantity shall commence from the last date of original delivery order and in cases where option clause is exercised during the extended delivery period the additional time shall commence from the last date of extended delivery period. The additional delivery time shall be (Increased quantity ÷ Original quantity) × Original delivery period (in days), subject to minimum of 30 days. If the original delivery period is less than 30 days, the additional time equals the original delivery period. The Purchaser may extend this calculated delivery duration up to the original delivery period while exercising the option clause. Bidders must comply with these terms.
- 2.Provisions for workmen compensation, insurance, public liability, property damage, insurance etc. to be ensured by the contractor. Also, safety measures prescribed for working in Extra High Voltage & use of personnel protective equipment must be adhered to.
Availability of Service Centres: Bidder/OEM must have a Functional Service Centre in the State of each Consignee's Location in case of carry-in warranty. (Not applicable in case of goods having on-site warranty). If service center is not already there at the time of bidding, successful bidder / OEM shall have to establish one within 30 days of award of contract. Payment shall be released only after submission of documentary evidence of having Functional Service Centre.

- 1.Manufacturer / Authorized Dealer Requirement The Bidder/OEM must be a reputed manufacturer or an authorized dealer for all types of furniture items. T he OEM must have its own furniture manufacturing facility in India for a minimum period of 10 years. The following documentary proofs must be enclosed with the bid: • Factory License • EPF Registration Certificate • ESIC Registration Certificate • Trademark Certificate for Brand Name • Memorandum of Association (MOA) / Incorporation Certificate
- 2.ISO Certifications The Bidder/OEM must possess the following valid certifications issued by NABCB-accredited certification bo dies: • ISO 9001: 2015 • ISO 14001: 2015 • ISO 45001: 2018 • ISO 50001: 2018 Copies of valid certificates must be enclosed with the bid.
- 3.BIFMA Membership The Bidder/OEM must have continuous membership of the BIFMA for at least the last 5 years. Copies of me mbership certificates along with confirmation from the official website BIFMA must be enclosed.
- 4.BIFMA Compliant Registry The Bidder/OEM must have a minimum of More than two furniture product listed under the BIFMA Complia nt Registry. A screenshot/printout from the official BIFMA website showing the listed product must be enclosed with the bid. ________________________________________
- 5.GREENGUARD Certification by UL The Bidder/OEM must possess a valid GREENGUARD Certification for the relevant product category. - 6.BIFMA LEVEL Certification The Bidder/OEM should have a minimum of Six (6) furniture products certified under BIFMA LEVEL, meeting any one of the following certification levels: BIFMA LEVEL 1 – Minimum 6 certified products, or BIFMA LEVEL 2 – Minimum 6 certified products, or BIFMA LEVEL 3 – Minimum 6 certified products. Documentary evidence shall be submitted along with the bid. A screenshot/download from the official BIF MA LEVEL Registry showing the certified products and their certification status shall be enclosed with the b id for verification purposes. BIFMA LEVEL certifications are independently third-party verified sustainability certifications under the ANSI/BIFMA e3 Furniture Sustainability Standard. _________________________________ _
- 7.AIOTA Certification The Bidder/OEM must possess a valid certificate issued by the All-India Occupational Therapists Associatio n for the following: • Educational Furniture • Office Furniture including Seating Systems Copy of the certificate must be enclosed with the bid. ________________________________________
- 8.Green & Sustainability Certifications The Bidder/OEM must possess the following valid certifications/memberships: • GRIHA Certification (minimum one furniture product) • Green Pro Certification for furniture products • Confederation of Indian Industry Membership Certificate • GreenCo Certificate • SEDEX Membership Supporting documentary evidence must be enclosed with the bid. ________________________________________
- 9.BIS Certification Requirements (IS 17631 to IS 17635) & India Design Mark (I-Mark) Certification Require ments The bidder or its OEM must submit valid BIS License copies for IS 17631,17632, 17633, 17634, and 1763 5 for 2022. & The OEM must be producing furniture products certified under the India Design Mark (by the In dian Design Council), with at least one product certified in each of the last three years—proof to be attach ed.
