OPTION CLAUSE: The Purchaser reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity to be ordered up to 25 percent of bid quantity at the time of placement of contract. The purchaser also reserves the right to increase the ordered quantity up to 25% of the contracted quantity during the currency of the contract at the contracted rates. The delivery period of quantity shall commence from the last date of original delivery order and in cases where option clause is exercised during the extended delivery period the additional time shall commence from the last date of extended delivery period. The additional delivery time shall be (Increased quantity ÷ Original quantity) × Original delivery period (in days), subject to minimum of 30 days. If the original delivery period is less than 30 days, the additional time equals the original delivery period. The Purchaser may extend this calculated delivery duration up to the original delivery period while exercising the option clause. Bidders must comply with these terms.

Bidders are advised to check applicable GST on their own before quoting. Buyer will not take any responsibility in this regards. GST reimbursement will be as per actuals or as per applicable rates (whichever is lower), subject to the maximum of quoted GST %.

• 1.The items shall be supplied as per the Specification enclosed. Deviation in specification if any may be sep arately attached.
• 2.Material test certificate to be provided for all the indicating dimension, grade of the bolts, nuts, screws, r elevant standard confirming to grade of the fastener.
• 3.Order will be placed on individual L1 evaluation basis.
• 4.The bidder shall offer the price on "F.O.R Salem Steel Plant" basis in GeM portal including P&F charges, Fr eight & Insurance Charges etc with applicable taxes & duties.
• 5.The payment shall be "100% within 30 days after receipt and acceptance of the item at Salem Steel Plant Stores".
• 6.Unless otherwise specified in the tender terms, the inspection will be at Salem Steel Plant after receipt of the consignment.
• 7.The bidder shall not quote/attach any price/price bid format along with their technical offer. The offer of s uch bidder will be summarily rejected.
• 8.The prices shall be kept firm till supplies are completed.
• 9.The bidder shall enclose signed and sealed copy of the technical specification, as a token to acceptance t o the tendered item's specification.
• 10.Delivery Schedule: 1 month from the date of order placement.
• 11.The applicable EMD amount is Rs. 1,000/- only (Rupees one Thousand only) each for item s.nos. 1 to 14 an d if the bidder is quoting for all the items applicable EMD amount is Rs. 1,000/- only. Please note that the e valuation of bid will be on individual L1 basis. However, bidders can submit "Bid Securing Declaration" in li eu of EMD, duly signed & sealed. MSME bidders are exempted from EMD subject to submission of Udyam R egistration / NSIC certificate.
• 12.The tendered item is in the list of 358 items reserved for purchases from MSE's, only the offers of MSE's wi ll be considered for evaluation purposes. the bidder should submit valid UDYAM/NSIC certificate as per the extant guidelines of GOI for availing the benefit.
• 13.The bidder shall submit "Undertaking forms- Form-1 on letterhead, Acceptance forms (Form 2 to Form 4), i.e. Dev. for Specification and bid terms, Detail Documents w.r.t Eligibility Criteria, Land border certificate a nd other documents, as sought in eligibility criteria, along with their technical offer.
• 14.Salem Steel Plant is registered on treds platform with invoicemart.com (https://www.invoicemart.com//). M SE vendors may avail this benefit. .
